‘The Friends' are pleased and proud to announce that our fundraising total for 2008 was £9,565! The best we've had so far but we couldn't have done it without you so thanks to all our members and those who have supported & helped at our many events. I wonder if we can do even better this year?
Our first event of 2009 was a sell out and an excellent evening with the Leeder Brothers and their quirky antiques. The overall winner (who got the most articles correct) was George Lowe, well done to him and to the ‘wood & metallurgy experts' who helped us all out with their astounding knowledge of all things wooden & shiny!
By the time you read this we'll had the Fashion Show so our next event will be a Coffee Morning on Saturday 7th March in the Barn from 10am - 12pm, with Tombola & raffle. We're also hoping to arrange another Pub Quiz at the Bay Horse for the 9th April but this has to be confirmed yet.
