May Newsletter
March saw another Friends AGM where we were pleased to welcome 2 new Committee Members, Jenny & Jeff Callison. All remaining members were willing to continue with their current roles.
Our next event will be the Beetle Drive at the Barn on Tues 12th May in the Barn. Start 7pm and tickets are £3 which includes light refreshments. Tickets from Janet on 849377 or pay at the door.
We'll be having a stall at the Plant Sale in Church on Sat 16th May with books, videos, etc and our usual souvenirs for sale. Then we are happy to announce a welcome return by our good friends the Wheatsheaf Singers for a Summer Choral Concert in Church on Sat 27th June at 7.30pm. Tickets are £3, plus 50p for tea/coffee which is available in the interval. Please come along and help us welcome the girls back, tickets will be available from Janet on 849377, Gibson's Newsagents (hopefully) or pay at the door. As it's in June we won't have to worry about the weather- will we??
Bookings will soon be taken for our Coach Trip to Skipton on Wed 15th July. Cost £10 per person so keep that date free, it'll be a great day out. Skipton is a lovely Dale's market town with lots of things to do - visit the Castle, browse round the market, walk by the canal or take a ride on a narrow boat, more details next time.
