FRIENDS OF HATFIELD CHURCH BUILDING TRUST
What with Tina coming back early from her holiday with a broken ankle and some beautiful bruises on the other one, and emails that disappear into the air, I am trying to fill the gap. Get fit and well soon Tina.
Our pub quiz at the Bay Horse went down well and overall winners were ‘Just us Two' with nearly 100%. Raffle prizes went to B. Roberts, A. Rutherford, E. Tomlinson, S. Bott and B. Bateson. Lucky table draw was won by The Thursday Crew. Many thanks to all at the Bay Horse and Chris for the Quiz. We banked £100 for the evening. Thanks to all who came.
A Coach Trip to Grassington Dickensian Market on Sat 5th Dec which sounds like a wonderful day out with lots going on: Hebden Bridge Band, Mummers Play, Town Crier, Nativity Procession and Carol Singing. A Craft Fair is on all day and plenty of other things as well. Even rumours of Santa Claus being there! Tickets from Janet on 849377-£11.50 p.p. Leaves church car park at 9 a.m. sharp-leave Grassington at 5.30 p.m. even sharper.
Christmas Coffee Morning at the Barn Sat 12th Dec with mince pies & mulled wine. Next it's
A Meal for Christmas at the Vermuyden Tea Rooms in Thorne on Monday 14th Dec in the evening with some home grown entertainment, hopefully. Numbers are limited for the Grassington coach trip and meal so book early if you'd like to join us by contacting Janet on 849377.
Tickets for the Leader Brothers, 7 p.m. in The Barn, January 27th 2010 available from Janet-Fun With Antiques. A great time is always had by all-get lots of laughs and a little knowledge.
