Study Group

This group meets fortnightly in series of sessions, covering about 6 sessions for each series.  Mary left it in good order with an enthusiastic small group who are interested, eager to find out more, not afraid to admit they don't know, and realise that studying the Bible is a life-long journey, and that's only the facilitators, Susan Spencer, Gill Salter and Chrissy Grindle!

The rest of the group inspire us, they too are interested, eager, not afraid, and learning all the time.  Their honesty and clarity of vision at times is breath-taking, we have all at times been spiritually touched by each other.

The discussions are lively, with everyone taking part, and often directly oppositional views emerge.  We now understand why Mary had a red card to show on occasion!  We've studied Esther, Philippians, watched the Joni Earickson life-story since she was one of the three people on the Philippians DVD, and this Tuesday we will divide into the red and blue corners as we study "When the women got it right and the men got it wrong", before we join with the Lent Group.

After Easter we plan to study Gideon, and we are sure the fascinating people are those in the group as well as on the page.  The only way to find out more is to come and join us!
