How to arrange a wedding
- Call at the Parish Office (the white door at the rear of Hatfield Vicarage, Vicarage Close) on any Tuesday evening between 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. You don't need to make any appointment. My secretaries will discuss details with you and tell you the available dates.
- In order to have a wedding service at Hatfield Church you would need to live in the parish of Hatfield (comprising Hatfield, Dunsville, Hatfield Woodhouse & Lindholme) or have had some strong connection with the church, i.e. have worshipped here regularly or have had a member of your family worship here regularly or have had a baptism or marriage of a family member here at some point in the past.
- In order to be married in Hatfield Church if one or both of you have been married before and that former partner is still living, you would need to also have a further meeting with the Vicar in order to be certain that a church wedding would be appropriate, this would be dependent upon the circumstances surrounding the previous marriage break up.
